Dr. Sridhar Goka is an eminent lawyer, constitutional expert, and the founder of Deccan Post, a leading media platform in Telangana. He is widely known for his contribution for the formation  of Telangana State. His contributions to law and social upliftment are remarkable. He established Deccan Post in response to the need for unbiased reporting in a media landscape heavily influenced by businessmen for their own commercial and political interests. Deccan Post became a platform for presenting the unvarnished truth about the Telangana movement and advocating for the legitimate aspirations of the Telangana people.

 

Dr. Sridhar also played a vital role in the struggle for the formation of Telangana State. His dedication and commitment to justice and transparent journalism were instrumental in realizing the dream of Telangana's statehood.

 

Dr. Sridhar holds a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from KITS and pursued his passion for law, earning an LLB and LLM (Constitutional Law) from Osmania University in 1993. He deepened his legal expertise by obtaining a Ph.D. in Constitutional Law from Osmania University in 2005. Interestingly, he comes from a family, whose ancestors have their roots spread wide across the Erstwhile Nizam State.
